Personal Statement
Kaylana LeeChow, Hudson Catholic Class of 2019
The first time I ever stepped on a court was when i was twelve years old. Automatically i fell in love with the game, and till this day I still have a strong passion for the sport. Ever since then it has been a dream of mine to play at a collegiate level.
On the court I have fast feet, a determined mind set, and a big heart. I try to lead by example and be someone who people look up to or go to for help. I am extremely coach-able and I listen to instructions very well. I am also hardworking and dedicated, one of the most enthusiastic player you will meet.
In the classroom I work and study hard. I am currently taking all honors courses due to being in the De LaSalle's scholars program at Hudson Catholic and I maintain a high GPA. I make my schoolwork my number one priority. I strive for excellence and work to my full potential. I also volunteer at school events, I try to stay involved around the school.
I wish to attend a college where I can absorb as much knowledge as I can in the classroom and live the perfect college experience. I also would love to be able to push myself on the court and be allow the court to be my personal safe haven. Overall, i want to find a school that is a perfect match for me, one where I can fit in and become the best version of myself as possible.
