Personal Statement
If you're looking for a versatile, high energy, athletic student-athlete, you have found it in me!
I bring energy to every aspect of my life - academics, athletics and socially. I fell in love with volleyball at an early age and have been around the game since I can remember. I began asking to play club at 8 years old, but my parents made me wait until I was 11 to try out for a 13 U team. After making the 13U team and being the youngest player by a year on that team, I couldn't get enough of time in the gym with a volleyball in my hand. It is honestly the one thing I am most passionate about. Since then and to this day, I love this game.
I am a hard worker who will put in extra work on my own and am always the first one at practice and the last one to leave training. I have been the team captain on every club team I have played on and enjoy the role of bringing the team together and building our connections and bond. I have played every position on the court and have found a home as a setter in the last year.
I'm excited about this recruiting journey and finding the school that best suits me in all areas. While I'm not too sure what I really want to major in right now, I'm leaning toward something in the sports world - sports management or sports psychology - but am really still trying to figure that out.
I am a two-sport athlete, also playing softball as a catcher. I volunteer as a youth coach for both softball and volleyball and have been a small group leader (Sunday School teacher/helper) with my church.
I look forward to connecting with you in searching for my collegiate volleyball home.
