Hi, my name is Frankie Accetta #24 -Class of 2024.
If you're looking for a versatile, high energy, athletic student-athlete, you have found it in me!
I bring energy to every aspect of my life -
academics, athletics and socially.
I am interested in becoming an Athletic trainer as my major and am a straight A student with a 4.4 weighted GPA and a 3.97 unweighted GPA and was inducted into the Math National Honors Society, Science National Honors Society and in September will be inducted into National Honor Society. I am class treasurer and am in the environmental club. I have received Falcon of the Week my freshman year. I won an emerging leader scholarship award from Wilkes college, and also earned the English 11 award this year as well as principal’s award over the last 3 years. I also have a varsity letter in soccer, volleyball and lacrosse. I am Captain of our volleyball team as well as Captain for lacrosse the last 2 years.
I fell in love with volleyball my freshman year in Saddle Brook high school because unfortunately they didn’t have volleyball in my middle school. I had played soccer since I was 5 but because of the pandemic I was able to play both soccer and volleyball because they were different seasons. When I first
started volleyball I didn't have any experience other than just playing with my family in the pool and backyard but fell in love with it when I played in high school. My soccer coach wanted me to stay with soccer since I played varsity as a freshman so my mom agreed to let me play on a club team for my sophomore year so I could do both.(she played volleyball as a setter in college) Now I’m hooked and the volleyball coach has talked me into playing varsity on my high school team for my junior and senior year. I am Captain this year and am a
very outgoing person, extremely coachable, enthusiastic on and off the court, and I love to learn more about the game as well as encourage others playing with me.
I played on the 15-2 team at Pinnacle
Volleyball Academy as the starting outside hitter. I also have played right side hitter when needed. I am also constantly working to improve my skills especially serving and defense. I'm very
hard working, loyal and compassionate.
I have great leadership skills and the ability
to keep my team motivated and on their feet at all times. I learn quickly from my mistakes
and adjust to perfect my role on the court.
My junior year I played with the 16u travel team at Sideout sports as an outside hitter but when needed right side or middle and played in Orlando for AAU Nationals. I was also asked to play up with the 16u national team in Chicago for the USAV nationals. Besides playing outside hitter I was also used as a ds. I will continue playing with them this year as a 17u.
