I have played volleyball for 7 years, and my love for it grows everyday. When I step onto the court, my focus is not only to make myself the best player I can be but to prioritize the needs as well as the energy of my team. I am a down-to-earth volleyball player being able to excel under pressure. For the past four years, I have been selected for and participated in my high school varsity volleyball team. From 2016 through 2019 I have been a starting player for my high school volleyball team. In 2019, I participated in the Saturday Night Lights police athletic league in New York City. In 2019, I was an invitee to the Girls High School Volleyball Tournament in New York City.
When I play volleyball nothing else matters. Being on the court is like gaining the ability to breathe again after holding your breath. My love for volleyball extends deeper than winning a game, it helps me mentally grow as a human being. To be able to play alongside people I otherwise might have never known gives me a sense of wonderment. I enjoy receiving the opportunity to meet new people and understand the way the act, play, think, feel, and the story/reasons behind it all.
I am searching for the best possible mixture of competitive, high level volleyball and academic eminence. I am an AP and honors student in the process of completing my fall semester of senior year with a 3.5. I love to challenge myself in all levels of athletics as well as academics in math and/or business programs. I eat, sleep and breathe volleyball. I play, practice, and study hard with one end goal - success.
