Lauren Khine '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Lauren! As a driven student and volleyball player, I'm eager to find a program where I will both academically and athletically thrive. 

My extracurriculars––including and especially volleyball––are built on community and connection, which have led to successful teamwork on and off the court. I have learned to trust my peers while also recognizing my own responsibilities, a skill that has allowed my dedication to school organizations and five (and hopefully more!) years of competitive volleyball. Experiencing teamwork with such diverse groups of people and in different formats has contributed to my adaptability and resilience. 

I have a strong jump serve and quick feet, and I'm a loud leader of the back row. I also respond well to constructive criticism and am very coachable. 

My junior year GPA (UW) was a 4.0/4.0, contrasting less successful freshman and sophomore years. This academic mentality is also reflected in my commitment to improving in volleyball. I hope to find a school where I can push myself even further, replicating my time at Trinity School. I look forward to connecting with coaches to find the best fit for both of us!
