When I stepped onto the court for the very first time, I knew I found my “home!” I fell in love with everything about the sport…the power, the agility, the strategy, everything…and since then, I’ve aspired to be the best player and teammate I can be.
I’m a hardworking, coachable, and supportive player who’s very interested in pursuing the opportunity to play at a college that satisfies both my academic needs and athletic capabilities.
Aside from volleyball (and basketball, which I also play on Pelham’s Varsity team), I enjoy giving back to my school and community as a member of the Pelham Leadership Council, the ALS Club, Peer Leadership Association as well as my employment at both Pelham Recreation and the Pelham Country Club as a camp counselor. In addition, I find joy helping in my families catering business, as I get to spend time with my parents while learning the business side of the hospitality industry.
Over the years I’ve found much success in leading by example. I will continue to work hard on and off the court to excel in everything I put my mind to, while pushing those around me towards success. Walt Disney once said: “The difference between winning and losing is most often not quitting.” I will never give up my aspiration to play college volleyball, I strive every day to make that a reality…and am looking forward to doing so in 2023!
