Personal Statement
I am an enthusiastic, encouraging to teammates, and always looking to learn new skills and improve! I really enjoy working with new coaches and playing with different groups to get a different perspective on the game, but I also love to get know my teammates and coaches, and develop a personal and professional relationship with my teammates and coaches.
During the beginning of my Sophomore year I was the only Sophomore to be moved up to my CRCS varsity team. Unfortunately my excitement was short-lived, and in my first varsity game (technically a scrimmage) I injured my left ankle, where I significantly damaged the cartilage and needed surgery. Unfortunately this injury kept me from playing for the rest of the school season, but I was able to start playing again during the club season with Aftershock. Even though at the time I thought that I was never going to play the same, I have learned that this was only a minor setback and overall has made me a stronger player and individual.
