Drew Kemp '20 Recruiting Profile

                My name is Drew Cameron Kemp and I am currently Junior at West Irondequoit High School in Rochester NY.  I have a 3.5 GPA and I am interested in studying business with a minor in psychology.  I will graduate High School in June of 2020.  I am the starting outside hitter on my high school team, where I have started for the last three years.  My freshman year I was selected All County.  My Sophomore year I led the team in kills and 2^nd in blocks.  A couple of major accomplishments individually, were being named to the “All Tournament” team and 2^nd team All Greater Rochester.  As a team, my freshman sophomore and Junior year we were Monroe County League champions, and last year Section V Class A Champions. 

I played the last four years with Club Team VFX National Elite team.  This year I will be playing for Club Paradigm 17-1 National Elite Team.  I will be playing outside and middle for my club team this year.  During the Spring of 2018 my club team will play in 10 tournaments (see schedule) in Boston, York PA, Louisville, Rochester and Buffalo.

I feel academics are just important as athletics.  I have demonstrated the ability to excel in academics, as well.  I have 3.5 GPA currently and have been on high honor roll for 3 consecutive years.  I plan on mailing my club schedule as soon it is released.  Along with this letter, I’ve included a list of coaches that know me well and are willing to speak to you regarding my playing abilities and character traits.  I have spent time doing research on what colleges would be a good match for me academically and athletically.
