2021 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My name is Sarah Angel. I am 5'2 and have been playing volleyball since 4th grade. Exempting a brief period as a right side, I have played as a Libero or DS for every team that I have played on. On my high school team I am a DS. This year my team won the 2A State Championship with a 20-0 record. I play club volleyball at Carolina Spike Force where I am a Libero for the 17 National team. This season I averaged around 15 digs (per game) with 4 assists (per set).
In college, I hope to study Criminology or Psychology (preferably both at some point). My GPA as a junior at Caldwell Academy is 4.65 (4.0 scale) and I take all Honors and AP classes. I have many leadership roles at my school such as student council, captain of the Varsity Soccer Team as a junior, and assistant editor of the yearbook. Next year, I will be the Editor in Chief of the yearbook along with being the leader of several club s such as the aviation club and Breakfast club, a service club.
I have received several academic and athletic awards at my school. A few of these being Academic All Conference (x3), The National Service Award (x3), the Fibonacci Award, and Senior Beta Club member.
