Daisy Henson '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Daisy and I am a hardworking team player that has a strong dedication to winning. I grew up playing basketball and baseball with my brothers. I started gaining interest in volleyball because my parents played in a league at church.  I wasn't old enough to play with them but I would end up filling in sometimes and I turned out to be pretty good. My mom put me in some carolina courts teams and I seemed to outshine everyone in those leagues. I tried out for school in 8th grade and played a good bit.  Freshman year for school volleyball was rough because of our coach. Our coach now has rebuilt the program and we are looking for 1st place in the conference! I start as an outside and play all the way around, but my coach puts me as right side or setter sometimes because I can play anywhere.
