I have been playing volleyball since third grade. Over the years, the love for the sport grows stronger. I have aspired to be one of the hardest working players on and off the court.
I have a strong jump serve, good read on the court with great play making ability. I am a team leader and encourage everyone to do their best and to keep a positive mentality. Although I tore my ACL in my left knee in the season of 2019, I am not letting my injury hold me back and I aspire to be the best I can be. I am very coachable and willing to do whatever is best for the team.
Whether it is the classroom or the court, I am very determined to do my best. I help assist in coaching at volleyball camps. Being injured this 2019 season I stayed and helped my teammates with their game while cheering them on all the way. I am very big on good sportsmanship and being a team player. As a kid I looked up to those varsity girls wanting to be them. Being in those shoes now, I do whatever I can not only to not disappoint them but to represent my school well, my coaches, my parents, and the team.
I would like to attend a college where I can succeed not only in my academic studies but as well as my athletic career. I hope to become a better teammate, better person, and a role model. All in the end, I especially hope to make all those who have stuck with me and helped me along the way very proud.
