Personal Statement
My ambition is to play competitive volleyball at the collegiate level. Throughout the years, volleyball has always been more than just a hobby for me. Volleyball is something I am very passionate about and serious in pursuing. I have always loved the game and everything that has came with it. It has been a tool in teaching me lessons about life and what it takes to be a leader. I wouldn't have considered myself a leader before joining volleyball, but now I could claim that role. Leadership is an important role to have, especially on a team. If a teammate/person does not take initiative then there will be troubles in succeeding. I would be a great asset to a team because I am a hard working, coachable, committed, and driven person. I am determined to get better in any and every way possible, whatever that may be. I am not only dedicated to volleyball, but to school as well. I have maintained a GPA of 4.0 throughout high school and have always taken school seriously. At school I am also involved in extra curricular activities like tutoring, and volunteering around my community to help out in any way I can.
