Personal Statement
Though playing volleyball I have built confidence within myself as well as confidence on the court. Being part of a team and knowing that we rely on each other to be our best is what I love about volleyball. I do my best to stay positive and bring my team up if we get down a few points. Never give up or quit. If we drop a game, I am ready to win the next. I strive to be a female athlete that others look up do. I absolutely love little athletes that think we rule the world! We can do anything if we set our minds to it.
I have played club volleyball for 5 years and starting my 6th year on a National lite team where I play a 6 rotation outside hitter. I just finished my school season on JV as a 6 rotation player! I feel I've grown so much over the school season. Both mentally and physically. When I'm not on the court you either can find me in the gym for summer training or enjoying my summer with friends and family. I‘m big into amusement parks and rollercoasters in the summer!
Keeping my body in peak condition is important but my academics are just as important to me as volleyball. I strive to make sure my grades reflect my determination on and off the court to succeed. As a sophomore I am currently taking 3 Honors classes with a 3.7 GPA. I plan to continue my education after high school in the field of Sports Medicine. I would love to be a sports trainer for a college or professional team.
