Samantha Carlin '21 Recruiting Profile

My future goals include playing volleyball at the collegiate level, while furthering my education and receiving a degree to secure a stable job as a physical therapist. I am a well-rounded player who has played many positions in order to adapt to the needs of the team at select points in matches.   I am currently a setter and defensive specialist, and am looking to be the libero for my club team this spring. I am able to take constructive criticism and apply it promptly. My coaches always tell me I am a coachable athlete. The reasons I standout from other athletes are: my love and dedication to volleyball, my academic successes as a student, and my personality on and off the court. I have proven myself to be a leader on the court while utilizing a genuine and caring attitude towards others, my strong work ethic both for volleyball, academics, and as an employee.
