Ryleigh Newman '18 Recruiting Profile

Coming together as a team this past year has been one of my biggest accomplishments in my high school career. I come from a small school and we have struggled in the past coming together and making things happen, this past year things changed drastically. Only three of us on our high school team play club ball, including myself. The three of us came together and began doing our best to teach the rest of our teammates what we knew, which helped us bond. I grew as a student athlete my freshman year when I was put outside on varsity, that is when I really got a feel for the court and what the action was like, which made me love the sport more than ever.

Being part of a small team and school has made me learn the value of team work, commitment, and leadership. I'm looking for a school that will fit me not only athletically, but most importantly academically. I believe I have the talent, work ethic, character, and love for the game to make an impact on your program, I can promise you will always see me giving you 100%, on and off the court.
