Personal Statement
I am a very confident young woman and a leader in everything I do, including playing volleyball. On the court, I lead by example and bring tremendous positive energy, enthusiasm, and passion to the game and my teammates. I am currently exploring my options with respect to playing volleyball in college. I have played club volleyball since age 11 and at the national Junior Olympic level for the past five years, participating in three national championships as well as the JO High Performance team for the Ohio Valley Region. Volleyball is one of my biggest passions and my goal is to continue playing throughout my college years. I have learned through the years how to balance it very well with my academics. I believe that what I learn on the volleyball court is just as important as earning stellar grades and will work hard on both ends at whatever college I attend.
