Ellen Hartmann '11 Recruiting Profile

My name Ellen Hartmann and I am a 5'7" junior at Dalton High School in Dalton, Ohio. We run a 5-1 offense for which I am the varsity setter and team captain. I was selected first team setter for the Wayne County Athletic League (WCAL) 2009. After breaking my finger in the first set of the D 4 District final, I still led my team with 37 assists, 6 kills, 11 service points, and 2 aces. I have 5 years of club volleyball experience with Varsity Select, Wooster Elite, and currently Max Air VBC. In the past two years, my teams have finished 5th out of 204 teams and 9th out of 196 teams in the Ohio Valley Region. I am athletic and fast with an extremely competitive attitude which makes me feel I could play at many different college levels. I believe it would be in my best interest to consider all college playing opportunities. I am dedicated and coachable with a winning desire which would be an asset to any college program. I have a GPA of 3.15 and am interested in obtaining a degree in Secondary Education or Business Management, but have not completely decided. Because of family situations, I would qualify for federal aid and grants.
