Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Shelby Alloway. I am a versatile, hardworking, experienced player with a solid understanding of the game. I attended my first volleyball camp when I was 8 years old and I immediately fell in love with it. I started playing club the following year and I have had a ball in my hand ever since.

The game of volleyball has given me the opportunity to travel the country, develop new friendships and has provided many unique experiences for me to learn and grow. I have competed in 2 national championship games; I’ve had the opportunity to train with USA Volleyball in Oklahoma and Colorado Springs; I toured the Olympic training facilities with my USA Volleyball coaches and I have attended several college camps to improve my skills. I have truly been blessed to play this game.

As I look towards the future, I want to continue to compete in college at a high level. I want to compete for conference championships, win a national championship and earn my degree.
