Sydney Bleyle '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sydney Bleyle and I am a setter in the graduating class of 2022. While I consider setting my main position, I have taken on the role of DS and hitting during my high school volleyball career. By partaking in these different positions, I  believe I have grown as a more reliable teammate, player, and person. Playing these positions has also taught me that it is better to be able to be thrown into any position and be versatile and open to playing it versus having my mind set on excelling in one position only. 

I am also a straight A student who prioritizes academics. I currently have a cumulative GPA of 4.5840 and am constantly working hard to maintain it. This hard work also transfers over to the volleyball court. Whether in the classroom, on the court, or with friends and family, I always show 110% effort. I am always open to hearing how I can become a better player, student, and friend and family member, so if someone gives me advice, I will take it and make the best out of it.
