Camy Wedge '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi.  I’m Camy Wedge.   I’ve been playing club volleyball for 8 years. The best thing about playing volleyball at a young age is the experience and feeling of confidence I now have.  
I have been described as someone that is incredibly hardworking on and off the court. My leadership skills are exposed by my drive to win and the relationships I make on the team, because I believe team work is key to success.  My club teammates are some of the closest friends I have because we all work hard for each other. 

I stand out due to my dedication and strive to increase my skill. No matter what, I am going to be hardest working girl in the game.
Academically, I’m one of those students that won’t settle for anything less than my best effort with a current GPA of 3.76. With my loved ones encouraging me and supporting me in all that I do, I'm motivated to work even harder for them, not just me. 

I played varsity freshman year, playing as a 6-2 rotation setter. Our conference record was 19-8 with a Division 2, District Champ title. I placed Honorable mention in the highly competitive Northern Lakes League conference. I'm loud and passionate about the game and my favorite part is stepping up and getting the ball moving and running. Setters run the offense and to know my coaches saw the potential in me, freshman year, is a huge compliment on who I am physically, mentally, and verbally. My Sophomore season, I started in a 6-2 setter rotation. I was named 2nd team  Division 2 with a District champ title.
