Taylor Kelso '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Taylor Kelso. I currently am the libero at Colonel Crawford High School where I have started now all three years since my freshmen year.  I have earned best defensive team player freshman, sophomore and junior years. I have received All Conference Honors such as 2nd Team North Central Conference my freshman, sophomore and junior years. Also All District 6 Honorable Mention my sophomore and junior year.

I have been involved with club volleyball for 6 years where I have played for Black Swamp in Tiffin, Ohio, for such coaches as Dan Reinhart, Bill Bonham, Lauren Kelbey and Mackenzie Adelman.  Some of my accomplishments included being OVR Regional Champs while on the 17R team in 2010.  Our team finished first that season, where I was the starting libero as a freshman.  I will be playing for Black Swamp this 2012 club season on GAIL KINGSEED'S 18 Regional Team as the starting libero #25.

After high school I would like to continue my volleyball career at the collegiate level.  While I am undecided on a major, my education is very important to me.  I am looking for a challenge and good balance between academics and athletics. I want to find a college that will allow me to play at both a competitive level and keep me close to home.

Volleyball is my passion and it is my dream to some day play volleyball in college! I am a hardworker and I am always looking for ways to improve my game to help make a positive impact on my team!  I will give 110% no matter what, no matter where, no matter when!
