Personal Statement

I believe as a student and an athlete that my education and goals always have to come first. Philosophy, as of now, is a major I find myself leaning towards. What will make me a great candidate for your team is that I always strive for the best in myself and my team. I take my sport (volleyball) very seriously, yet I make sure my education is #1. I understand I have responsibilities as a student and an athlete, and I make sure I follow them. As a person, I like to put others before myself and always lift people when they are down. I find myself as an athlete to persevere in skills and situations that are difficult to accomplish. As for academics, it took me a while to understand the importance of my grade, but now I do, and I have done much much better when it comes to my academics and thrive to reach my highest ability in volleyball, schooling, and as a person.
