Personal Statement

I am a 5'10" senior middle hitter from Smithville, Ohio. I am a 3 year varsity letter winner and have 6 years of club volleyball experience with Wooster Elite and MaxAir VBC. Last year, our team ranked 3rd in the OVR among 125 teams and finished 1st in the OVR tournament. As a sophomore, I earned a 3.8 GPA and scored a 20 on my ACT. During that year I had perfect attendance, too. I also earned the Ohio H.S. Scholar Athlete award my sophomore, junior, and pending senior years. I am a hard worker on and off the court. I am dedicated, coachable, and always wanting to improve. I believe my best fit would be at the Div II or NAIA level, but I will absolutely consider other opportunities. I'd like to be a key player and make an impact for a college volleyball team. I am looking for a college to obtain a degree in either radiology, exercise science, or sports medicine; however, I have not fully decided.
