Molly Richards '20 Recruiting Profile

I have played club and school volleyball for the last 5 years and love the sport.  You might say it’s genetic – my mom played Division 1 college volleyball and has been a great mentor to me.  Competing at the national level with NOVA has been great experience.  It has not only made me a better volleyball player and teammate, but a better person.  In middle school, I competed in track and field as a high jumper and was fortunate to win a few events.  And although those individual victories were fulfilling, nothing compares to winning as a team.  There is something special about winning as a team – being a part of something bigger than yourself.  I look forward to continuing my volleyball career in college and being part of something bigger than myself.
