Personal Statement
Volleyball is my passion. I love the game more than words can describe, and it is one of my top priorities. Every time my teammates and I work hard to finish a point, both of my hands go straight into the air out of excitement and hard work. One of the things that i think sets me a part is my work ethic. When I was a freshman in high school, I was told I was only on JV for the season, and of course my heart was broken. To change that, every single day I went into practice being better than I was the day before. When my team and I had to run suicides or sprints, I would run with the freshmen, JV and varsity. I asked our coach if she would give me the opportunity to go to a varsity practice to show her how badly I wanted it and how hard I work. She said yes, and the next varsity game I was playing in it. We were playing against a 6a school that we were projected to lose against, but we won. I work hard every day. Many coaches have told me that I am a very coachable player. I am a leader both vocally and physically and will do whatever it takes to get the job done.
