I know that I want to complete a Biology degree and possibly pursue Dentistry. Throughout high school, I have maintained my 4.0 GPA, completed AP and Honors classes and scored a 27 on the ACT all while playing school and club volleyball and working part-time. I will graduate as one of NHS's valedictorians.
I first became interested in volleyball when I was 10 years old. At the time, I was playing softball and that was just not working for me. My mom and I were searching for a new sport and we found volleyball. I've been in love ever since! Throughout my time of playing volleyball, I've learned that I'm a true leader on and off of the court and that is one of my biggest accomplishments. I've also learned every person on the team has a role. Whether the player has a great amount of playing time or cheers for the team from the sideline, everyone has a role. I have learned how to be adaptive and change my role to what is needed for the team. I'm very excited to have the opportunity to keep improving and to play at the college level.
