Hello! My name is Abby Medico, and I am a class of 2020 volleyball player. I am a student at Bishop Kelley High School, a private 5A school in Tulsa, OK. I have been playing volleyball since I was eight years old and I have always wanted to play at the collegiate level. I have played many different positions, including setter, outside, and DS. This wide range has helped me to become more versatile and has helped me understand the game from different perspectives. Volleyball has helped me learn how to lead a team, how to work together for a common goal, and that hard work is the key to success.
Besides volleyball, I am very active in many other extracurricular activities at Bishop Kelley. These include the Link Crew freshman orientation program, all-school musicals, competitive speech and debate team, photography club, advanced women's choir, and more. Being involved in so much gives me many opportunities and teaches me to manage my time wisely and efficiently.
I want to attend a college that will meet both my education and athletic goals. I plan on entering the Pre-Medical field, so I would love to have a college that is strong in medical science. I also wish to play for a college that is competitive and exciting.
I hope you will consider me as the next addition to your roster!
