Joya Euhus '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Joya Euhus, and I'm a junior at Santiam Christian, one of the most academically challenging schools in my area. I'm a dedicated student-athlete; I want to study psychology in college, and a good academic program will be a large part of my college decision. 

Alongside school, I'm a hard working, competitive volleyball player. I am constantly in the gym, looking to grow stronger. The extra time I spend undoubtedly pays off. I've been a starter on the 16-1 team at G3 Volleyball Club since my 8th grade year, at 13 years old. At G3, my team has placed top five in our region for the last two years. This year, in CEVA, a new division was implemented. In the Open division, teams of any age can compete, including my team. In Open, we have triumphed over some of the best teams in Oregon, including those older than us (17u and 18u). I was voted captain of the team at the beginning of this season, and my goal is to push my team to compete the best we can while developing strong relationships with each other.

I attend Santiam Christian High School, one of the highest academic schools in my area. There, I have kept a 4.0 GPA, as well as taking multiple Honors classes. I've been a starter on my high school team since my freshman year, playing middle or opposite as needed. This high past school season, my team placed 6th in state, and I was awarded 1st Team All League, Team MVP, OSAA Athlete of the Week, and 3rd Team All State. 

Whatever team I play for, I devote myself to competing the best I can. I constantly strive to be a respectful, responsible, inspiring leader; both on the court and off.
