I started playing volleyball in third grade. Ever since that time I've been loving volleyball and can't imagine not playing. Volleyball has taught me very important skills that will help me in my life. I've learned the importance of being a leader, how to be mentally tough, how to deal with pressure, and how to work and support my team. My ultimate goal is to help people in the medical field and eventually become a surgeon. I originally became interested in the medical field when my dad had knee surgery. The idea of a surgeon operating on my dads knee to get it back normal was fascinating. I'm very excited for my future and to get involved in the medical field at a University that has a good academic along with a good athletic program.
