Personal Statement
Playing college volleyball has been a dream of mine since I began playing on my school team in 5th grade. I play all year round and I love the game. I play whenever I can and also help my dad coach his middle school team. It has always been something that’s a huge part of my life.
I'm the second oldest in a family of four. I'm super close to my family and enjoy spending time with them. Besides volleyball, I help in the community whenever I can. I assist in my parish and school. My education is very important to me. Although I don't know exactly what I want to be I am interested in politics and law. Relationships are also incredibly important to me and I always try to build strong relationships with my friends, team, and coaches.
It is important to me that I am able to connect with my coach and really understand their philosophy. I have had many different coaches over the years and I have found that coaches that I can talk to and trust are the ones I do best under. If I can understand why they do what they do it's easier for me to make decisions on the court that reflect their ideas in different scenarios.
