Personal Statement
My name is Chloe Mitchell. I am a very dedicated player focused on improving my skills and building team relationships. I have been told that I am a highly coachable player from camps that I have attended. I am a natural leader. I support and encourage my teammates on and off the court. In addition to my efforts on the volleyball court, I work hard on my academics. I am President of the Junior National Honor Society, a member of the High School Academic League and Editor of the yearbook. I am also a varsity cheerleader and a member of the debate team. Outside of school, I take dance classes in Pointe, Tap, Jazz, and Modern. I also take voice and piano lessons. In addition to the piano, I play guitar, ukulele, trumpet, violin, clarinet, and bass clarinet. I also volunteer my time as the assistant coach for the Carmichaels middle school girls volleyball team in addition to working part time as circulation clerk at the local public library. This past summer, I was lifeguard at the local county pool. Volleyball is my passion. I play year-round for school, club teams, and summer league. It is my goal to continue playing at the college level.
