Sydney Kaschalk '20 Recruiting Profile

Throughout my life, I have been inspired by my family but most importantly by my parents. No matter the day, they've always told me to follow my heart and to do what I love. After playing volleyball for a school based club team in the 6th grade, I knew that volleyball was the sport for me. I have carried a love for the sport in my heart ever since and have continued to play for the past 6 years. Being surrounded with a team of 15-18 people has required me to show what separates me from the rest of the athletes.  Along with continued personal goals and successes, I also enjoy seeing my team succeed. I am a team player both on and off the court. I consider myself a strong leader. When something needs to be done or a problem arises, I find myself to be the person to step up and take action within the situation. When thinking about college, I am looking for a school that can most importantly provide me with the education and athletic competition that I desire.
