My name is Isabelle Bombas. I am a starting middle hitter in my junior year at Hatboro Horsham Senior High School. My interest in sports started in 5th grade with softball and basketball. In 6th grade I became very interested in volleyball while watching my older cousin compete. By the time the fall of 7th grade approached I knew volleyball was going to be my sport. I tried out and made my middle school team. The energy and excitement I felt on the court was incredible. The competitive spirit was motivating me to want the win for my team, the coach, my family in the stands and myself. I joined a club program immediately after the school season ended. I have been playing volleyball ever since for my school and club. I have gained life experience from playing a game I love. I am learning what it takes to balance sports, schoolwork, and family. I have also learned how to remain focused and positive despite challenges. I have enjoyed all the travel for different tournaments, some to new cities that I was able to experience with my family. I have met some amazing people along the way and now have long lasting friendships with teammates and their families. I am focused student athlete who works hard at everything I want to accomplish. I want to attend a school that will give me the opportunity to learn, play and grow as a person.
