Personal Statement
Hi! My name is Addison Schultz, and I am a sophomore at Frazier High School. I started playing volleyball in seventh grade and have been playing competitively ever since. Volleyball has played a huge role in my life, and I can't imagine living without it. Since I was 4 years old, I’ve always been an active person whether it be competitively dancing or playing softball. Once middle school came around and I was able to join the volleyball team, I never looked back as I knew I had a new love. This really came to light when as a starting freshman on the varsity team, we won the WPIAL championship and had an undefeated season. That really sparked the drive to want to win and I cannot wait to see what we can do the rest of my high school career. I have spent a lot of time the last few years trying to improve my game by playing club volleyball and also going to a performance training center to physically help me jump higher and hit harder. For the past four years I have attended camps, clinics, as well as playing club volleyball with P3R, getting to travel to different tournaments around the east coast. In addition, I have made school a priority because I understand the importance of an education. My goal is to play volleyball at a collegiate level and I am excited to see what the future holds!
