My name is Sarah Watkins and I am a rising senior setter at Wyalusing valley jr/sr High School. I started participating in sports in 6th grade; like volleyball and softball. Volleyball, out of all sports, helped me learn grit, discipline, and how to be an supportive teammate. Even though I have only played for five years, I know volleyball is my groove. In the course of my five years of playing, I have already learned the significance of teamwork, communication, and being a leader on the court. I am wanting a college to aid me in learning even more about the culture of volleyball and more skills.
What I have obtained from sports has drifted over to my academics as well. I want to attend an academically immersed school that challenges me every day and assist me in learning a broad spectrum of knowledge like forensics sciences and Psychology.
Sports taught me the sense of setting challenging goals and work harder to get closer my goal; of being a college athlete. This helps me stay motivated and concentrated to be a student athlete.
As a volleyball player, I am disciplined, competitive, hard working, and coachable. I hope to go to a college that will help me grow athletically and academically
