Personal Statement
I have always loved playing volleyball. My volleyball career began in elementary school and has continued every year since. My love for the sport grows with each new season and challenge. I have spent many hours in the gym, on the court, and in the classroom in order to become the person and player, I am today. I enjoy staying busy in every aspect of my life and have learned to successfully apply myself academically and athletically.
For as long as I can remember, I've been interested in a career where I would have the opportunity to help others. Over the past few years, becoming a Physical Therapist has become my focus and I feel it's a perfect fit for me. I have worked toward this goal throughout high school by challenging myself with honors and college-level coursework.
On the court, I always maintain a positive mindset with my teammates and work to encourage their success. This has led me to several leadership roles for Carolina Forest Varsity Volleyball and my club teams in the past years. Something that differentiates me from other recruits is my overall versatility, ability to be a dynamic player, teammate and positive leader. Overall, I'm a highly dedicated individual who will continue to challenge myself in the classroom and on the court.
