Personal Statement
Being named to the “All-Star” team when my team came in second place at AAU nationals in 2019 has been the highlight of my volleyball career so far. Where I grew the most, however, was when I had to play JV my sophomore year due to transfer rules.
I was cut from my middle school team my seventh grade year, then I was pulled up to JV my eighth grade year, then varsity my freshman year. Over the years, I have learned a lot about hard work and determination along with teamwork and leadership skills. I believe my work ethic, leadership skills, and talent will help me fit in on a multitude of teams. Being a team captain and a 5-1 setter on many different past teams, I am certain I can play a huge role as a leader and teammate on your team!
