Mikaela Schmitt '26 Recruiting Profile

I first picked up a volleyball in 6th grade and my love for volleyball has grown each time I stepped into the gym. I joined my middle school team and quickly became engulfed in the tradition of excellence and work ethic that is Northwestern Volleyball. I am versatile and can be your go-to player for any position. I currently start as a defensive specialist for my high school varsity team and play DS and OH on JV and club levels. I am a passionate, supportive, and encouraging teammate who loves celebrating everyone's successes. I work hard on the court and in the classroom and currently have a 3.677 GPA and am involved in many activities at my high school. As a student-athlete, I have found that time management, organization, and finding a balance are vital to success. My love for volleyball is undeniable. I will put in the hard work, dedication, and passion to be successful at every level I am blessed to play. I would be a great asset to your college, your community, and your volleyball program.
