Chelsea Blaine '25 Recruiting Profile

I’ve been playing volleyball since I was twelve years old. Each year, I’ve grown into a better person and player. The past three years playing high school volleyball really opened my eyes to the future. I aspire to play at collegiate level and further my academics in the process. Playing for a college team will open many opportunities that could change my life.

I have smart ball-handling skills, quick approaches, a good swing on the ball, and high energy. I try to lead my team and achieve victory on the court.  I love to support each and every one of my teammates. I am a very coachable player, meaning that I will make quick adjustments and help out in any way needed. My favorite coaches are those who push me to be my best. I am a hard-working player on court and off court.

I practice hard year round, participating in both school and club teams and a local co-ed pick up league. I have attended several college prep camps and I plan on attending prospect camps this year. I have finished my junior year of high school season and now play on Phoenix Rising 17U Nationals Team.. 

In class, I study hard and work for a high GPA. I am challenging myself in AP courses and Honors classes. I received academic honors both sophomore and junior year. I have assisted my school in Youth Camps to help develop younger volleyball players and I hope to do more for younger players in the future. 

I want to attend a college where I can keep putting in work in the classroom and on the court. I am NCAA eligible and am open to all options. I hope to find the right collegiate match for me to continue at a high level of competition. I hope to become a role model for my community and make my family proud.
