Personal Statement
My name is Rachel Ferrara and I am a senior at McNeil High School in Austin, Tx. I am on our school's varsity team as a setter as well as Texas Fury's 18-1 club team this season as a setter/right side.
My goals for college are to get a bachelors degree in social work/public services, and then a masters in social work. I value my education and I feel I do well at balancing school and sports and I maintain good grades.
I am a good candidate for your team due to my hard work ethic, coachibility, and ability to work with teammates. I am a very versatile player and I am always ready to do whatever is asked of me. I train on and off the court which includes private lessons, conditioning, and plyometrics training, which transfers into my game keeping me in shape and having good stamina.
I am hoping to take my skills to play college volleyball and thank everyone who took the time to read this.
