Volleyball is my passion and college is my future.  Therefore, it makes perfect sense that I would want to carry my passion forward as I pursue a college degree. 

Since I was a young girl, I have taken every opportunity to play and develop my skills in order to reach my full potential.  I understand that hard work pays off and have applied this belief daily in both my academic and athletic career.  

Being 5'6" in a sport that rewards height over talent, I have had to find my way to stay on the court by leveraging my strengths.  Many of my coaches have expressed confidence in my athletic ability, court awareness, and leadership capabilities and have taken advantage of these strengths to help me guide others.   I plan to use what I have learned to help me succeed in life and maximize every opportunity .
