Personal Statement
I started my volleyball career not very sure of myself in junior high. Throughput the years I have grown a passion and love for the sport, greater than I ever thought I would. As the Ennis High School Varsity libero, I am always striving to achieve my goals and get better every time I step on the court. I have completed three seasons of club volleyball. This last season I competed on a national level team as the libero. I truly feel that I would be a perfect fit for playing at the college level in the years to come. I am hard working and will not give up until I become the best I can be. On the court I am described to be "always hustling to get the ball". To date, I am the fastest one on my team. I always put my mind to getting the ball no matter what. I also am the one that rallies the team when we become down on ourselves and make sure that we keep fighting until the game is over. My passion for the sport is evident when you see me play.
Off the court, I am a published artist. Watercolor painting is the median I work the best in. I am in the top quartile of my class and in National Honor Society. One of my hobbies is wake surfing at the lake, and I am also a member of my local church community at the Avenue.
