Mia Ott '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a hard working student athlete that puts as much work in the classroom as I do on the court.  I have been playing club volleyball since I was 10 years old and since then, I knew I wanted to play at the collegiate level.  I want to attend a school where I can play volleyball at a competitive level while achieving a great education. I am interested in in the Medicine/Health field, and would like to become a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.  I am currently a Senior at Nolan Catholic High School with a 3.90 GPA and a member of the National Honor Society.  I just finished a great season at Nolan as Team Captain, and was awarded TAPPS 1-6A First Team All District, MVP Defensive Player of the Year, All State Honorable Mention and Academic All State.  When I'm not playing volleyball, I enjoy spending time at the gym doing strength and conditioning classes.  This year, I have joined my High School's first Powerlifting team and I am really enjoying the physical and nutritional discipline.  I am a great teammate, communicate well and motivate.  I have a strong volleyball IQ, I'm very coachable and dependable. I am hoping to find an opportunity to play at the collegiate level with the school that is perfect for me.
