Playing volleyball has become a big part of my life over the years from the friendships that I have created to the love and passion that I have built for the sport. But volleyball has taught me so much from dealing with pressure and learning to be a good teammate and good person in general. Though this sport is a big part of my life, so are my parents and siblings. I love my family so much, my favorite things to do with my family are cooking with my mom, working out with my dad, and playing fun games with my little brother and sister. I think my love for sports started with my parents because they were both college athletes, and have always pushed me to be the best person and athlete that I could be.
At the moment, I am a part of an amazing volleyball program and have been able to see the amazing upperclassman achieve so much as MVP of the district and multiple All-State team players. These events have shown me that dedication and hard work pays off by watching all of the upperclassmen achieve so many great things. It has the impact on me to push myself to be a better athlete in so many ways. My coaches have always pushed me to be a leader along with always staying positive and to be an encouraging voice on the court. I am confident that I possess the necessary skills to serve as a good leader on any team!
