I am a 5'8" Libero, class of 2022, and am in my seventh year of high-level club training and competition.
I have been to the Girls Junior National Championship three times in a row (except for the Covid cancelled 2020). In 2018 my team finished fifth in the USA Division, and in 2019 I competed in the Open division with the best club teams. The 2020/21 season is my 3rd year at TAV, and my 6th year of club volleyball. I take year-round private lessons with the award-winning coach Ping Cao. I am a scrappy and energetic player with a passion for the game.
I bring energy and leadership to every court I walk on. My commitment to volleyball drives me to always work my hardest to be better than I was the day before. I bring fire and competition to every drill, and it challenges my teammates to meet my level of enthusiasm for the game, which is part of what makes me a great leader. I have been recognized by many coaches and teammates for being a vocal, energetic, and positive player who truly excels in high-pressure situations. I would love to be part of a team where we constantly push each other to improve.
I maintain straight A's and a 4.0 GPA in the highest level classes my school offers while being in the Gifted and Talented program along with being a member of the National Honor Society. I am able to play at a high level, partially due to the fact that I have a high volleyball IQ and can make smart decisions quickly on the court. I attribute my understanding of the game partially to my hard work in the classroom. It would be my dream to travel out of state to play in college where I can help the team, and be part of a program that will push me to be the best player I can be.
