I fell in love with volleyball while watching my cousin play. I was 8 years old when I started playing in third grade. During my 5th and 6th grade year, I was captain and starter on our top team. Also, during 7th and 8th grade, I moved schools, made the A team and 8th grade I was captain. My freshman year of high school I was a starter on JV and for a week moved up to Varsity and was a Right-side hitter due to sick players and then went back to JV full time. I have played club one the 13’s and 14’s team at Texas Outlaws Volleyball on their blue team. I have played every position except for Libero and setter. My 13’s team coach told me I would never be able to play back row due to a concussion. She put me as a right-side hitter and I only would play front row. Then toward the middle of the season with a lot of dedicating work and determination to prove her wrong. I was playing all around in every tournament as a DS and as an Outside-hitter. My 14’s team I was a DS and Right-side and Outside hitter throughout the season. My freshman year I was an Outside hitter and a starter on JV. My coaches would describe me as a team player, outgoing, energetic, coachable, and hard working.
