Kimberly Robinson '13 Recruiting Profile

I am very very passionate about volleyball! My school did not start a volleyball program until my 8th grade year and our high school team became varsity for the first time last year, 2-A in 2011 and moving to 3-A this year, 2012. Last year I was chosen All-District Newcomer Of The Year and named to the All-Area Team 2012 by The Denton-Record Chronicle. This year I was chosen for First Team All-District and All Area Co-Defensive Player of the Year 2013 by The Denton Record-Chronicle. In 2011 our team finished as Area Champs for 2-A (our varsity inaugural year) and we repeated it again this year as 2012 All-Area Champs for 3-A. Although there have been many "growing pains" with this sport, sticking with it has become one of the best decisions I have ever made as my life now basically revolves around volleyball! My ultimate dream is to become a dual athlete (volleyball and track) in college. Until then, I plan on making the most of my senior season by giving everything to my team as a Captain, playing every game like it's my last, and earning a scholarship to continue playing at the next level!
