Personal Statement
I became interested in the sport when I was 9 years old. My mom would always play with my in the back yard. I started by just going to camps and clinics to just try it out and then I fell in love with the sport. Since I was 10, I have been playing for Club South Volleyball in League City, Texas. While I have had the honor to play there, I have been thought the value of culture and the discipline it takes to make it to the next level in sports and in life.
Through my career, I have learned a lot about myself. I have learned how to be a servant leader and have been able to develop those skills in many different environments and cultures. I have learned the power of being able to adapt to anything that can come. I have also learned the power of positivity as I have done my own personal research and think it’s a very important part of the game. I have also learned what I have learned how I manage stress which has helped me in sports as well as in life.
While being at Clear Springs High School in League City, Texas I have got all-academic awards and been inducted into many Honor Societies. I am in the Teachers Education Training program where I go to Elementary School and Teach Lessons to them along side my mentor.
I plan on Majoring in Psychology and working to be a Child Psychologist to work with kids in the school system.
