My name is Hannah. I started playing volleyball for a rec league when I was 11 years old. I started playing club volleyball in the 6th grade, and am now on my 5th year. I was a starter on the "A" team in both 7th and 8th grades as a middle blocker. My freshman year, I was a starter on Varsity as right side. This sophomore year I am a starting middle blocker. I am a hard worker, great listener, and accept critique with a positive attitude. I am accountable for my errors, and continually strive to improve. I am a great team player, and always try to keep my teammates encouraged. I am often referred to as the firecracker! I am always asking my coach on things I can do to improve my performance, and always do what is asked of me. During the summer I stay very active by attending several camps, clinics, and attend a strengthening & conditioning program offered by the high school, as well as take advantage of any opportunities for MOOR training and VERT training. Volleyball is my passion, and I dream of one day being able to continue that dream beyond high school. My club team won the gold ball at Colorado Crossroads in the American division for 14u, which earned us a bid to nationals in Detroit. My 15u club team was 5th in Open at Colorado Crossroads, 1st in silver Open at the West Coast Cup, 1st in regionals, and 1st in silver National division at GJNC. I do plan to attend a college/university, and at this time am leaning toward becoming a pediatric mental health registered nurse. My grades in school are mostly A's, with a very few high B's. I am a member of the National Honor Society. I played basketball 5th-8th grades, with the last 2 years being a starter on the "A" team as a post in both 7th and 8th grades. I have also participated in track & field. I competed in high jump, 4x200 relay, and the 200m dash. I am so excited for my future and the many opportunities that it will hold.
