Personal Statement
My goals for playing at the collegiate level is that I want to continue playing the sport I love and become the best volleyball player I can possibly be. I aspire to always play my best not just for myself, coaches or fellow teammates, but also the school that i proudly represent. I want to accomplish taking myself, physically and mentally, to the next level by hard work and determination. What really sets me apart from other players is that I make sure that I always have a positive attitude and give 100% at all times. As a captain for both my varsity volleyball and basketball teams, I learned that once you start feeling negative, it brings the rest of the team down and that's where things can start to go south, thus I always maintain a positive attitude. Further, I never give up and I always make sure that the people around me don't give up either. I am a very vocal person and I do whatever it takes to make sure that my team stays at its best. What also makes me different is that I apply all these qualities into the classroom. I have always cared about my grades, made the first honor roll every quarter and made sure that I do my best in every class. In summary, my dream is to play college volleyball. I feel that I have the physical and leadership qualities that would be an asset to any program. I look forward to a brave coach to offer me an opportunity to compete for him/her. You will never regret it!!
